🍪 Moroccan Almond Ghrib



Ingredients:

  • 2 cups finely ground almonds (or almond flour)

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

  • 1–2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter

  • Powdered sugar for coating


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. In a bowl, mix ground almonds, powdered sugar, baking powder, and lemon zest.

  3. Add eggs and oil/butter. Mix until you get a soft dough.

  4. Form small balls with your hands.

  5. Roll each ball in powdered sugar.

  6. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cookies crack and are lightly golden.

  8. Let cool before serving
