🍫 Homemade Moroccan Chocolate (Chocolat Marocain Maison)
Moroccan homemade chocolate is a simple yet rich treat, often made with almonds, cocoa, and sometimes flavored with orange blossom water or cinnamon. It’s popular during Ramadan, Eid, or family gatherings.
Ingredients

1 cup dark chocolate or cocoa powder

1/2 cup butter or coconut oil

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup chopped almonds or other nuts

1 teaspoon vanilla extract or orange blossom water

Pinch of salt
Instructions
1️⃣ Melt chocolate and butter

In a double boiler or microwave, melt the chocolate and butter together until smooth.
2️⃣ Mix sugar and flavoring

Add sugar, vanilla extract (or orange blossom water), and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
3️⃣ Add nuts

Stir in the chopped almonds (or other nuts) evenly into the chocolate mixture.
4️⃣ Pour into molds

Pour the chocolate mixture into small molds or a lined tray.

Flatten and smooth the top with a spatula.
5️⃣ Chill

Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
6️⃣ Serve

Cut into squares or remove from molds and enjoy.
