🍫 Moroccan Marble Cake (Meskouta)
Ingredients

3 large eggs (room temperature)

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup vegetable oil
-
1 cup milk
-
2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 tbsp baking powder
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1 pinch salt
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Batter:

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Grease and flour a loaf pan or round cake pan.

In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy.

Add oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture. Stir gently until smooth.
2️⃣ Create the Marble Effect:

Divide the batter into two equal parts.
-
Add cocoa powder to one half and mix until fully combined.

Pour alternating spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter into the pan.

Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the batter to create a marble pattern.
3️⃣ Bake:

Bake for 35–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
4️⃣ Cool and Serve:

Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
