Quick Moroccan Croissants (Easy Homemade Version) 🥐
Ingredients:

500 g all-purpose flour

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp instant yeast

1 egg
-
250 ml warm milk
-
60 g melted butter
-
100 g soft butter (for quick layering)

1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk (for brushing)
Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

Add the egg, warm milk, and melted butter.

Knead for 8–10 minutes until you get a soft, smooth dough.

Cover and let it rise for 45–60 minutes until doubled in size.

Roll the dough into a rectangle.

Spread the soft butter over the surface.

Fold the dough into thirds (like a letter).

Roll it out again and fold once more — this gives a quick laminated effect.

Roll the dough to medium thickness.

Cut into triangles.

Roll each triangle from the base to the tip to form croissants.

Place on a baking tray and let rise 30 minutes.

Brush with egg yolk + milk.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden.
