🌰 Tifinagh – Traditional Amazigh Moroccan Sweet
Tifinagh is a traditional Moroccan Amazigh dessert, usually made from honey, almonds, and sesame seeds. It’s commonly prepared for special occasions and celebrations.
Ingredients

1 cup blanched almonds (or a mix of almonds and walnuts)

1/2 cup sesame seeds (toasted)

1/2 cup honey

2 tablespoons sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon orange blossom water
Instructions
1️⃣ Toast nuts and sesame seeds

In a dry pan, lightly toast almonds and sesame seeds until fragrant. Let cool.
2️⃣ Prepare almond mixture

Grind the almonds coarsely.

Mix with toasted sesame seeds, sugar, and cinnamon.
3️⃣ Add honey

Warm the honey slightly and mix with orange blossom water.

Combine honey with the nut mixture until it forms a sticky paste.
4️⃣ Shape

Shape the mixture into small balls, discs, or traditional Amazigh patterns (triangles, diamonds, or special symbols).
